Parents beware! Talk to your children about all forms of drugs; educate yourself on what’s out there. There is some scary shit out there that is finding its way in our schools, homes and our children’s bodies. You may not feel comfortable broaching the subject well you better get comfortable real quick because the use of Synthetic marijuana is becoming rampant and its cheap and readily accessible.
Synthetic marijuana is being marketed as “safe”. Ok reality check, there is no such thing! Synthetic means FAKE, NOT REAL i.e. IMITATION! Synthetic marijuana or Cannabis as the medical world calls it is a designer drug that mimics the effects of marijuana. It is designed specifically to emulate the marijuana high. Why anyone would think “fake” marijuana is a safer alternative is beyond me. What’s worst? Yes it gets worst; they (company’s that manufacture and sell) are marketing this poison as Spice.
Yeah you read right SPICE, can you believe it? That these makers were able to legitimately categorize and label this toxin as “spice products” also known as "herbal incense" or "herbal smoking blends" with the street names such as K2, Spice, Green Giant, Mr Happy and “Scooby Snax,” is really frightening. What, we don’t have enough mind alternating, soul destroying drugs in the world already that they have to manufacture more?
Synthetic marijuana has some catastrophic side effects that list intense hallucinations and psychotic episodes as just some of its devastating impacts as if that is not bad enough!
Just this September 2015 talk show hosts Wendy Williams talked about her son falling victim to Synthetic marijuana use this summer. Sadly according to her, it was introduced to him by a family member. The distressingly devastating impact physical, psychological, emotional (which she didn’t comment on) could have caused her her son’s life!
Parents, teachers, guardians, childcare workers please educated yourselves on drugs making its way through our cities and homes, ignorance is not an excuse, be aware, be proactive, be smart, “an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure.” Don’t tune out, tune in, pay attention to when your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, students, teenagers speak; you could learn something that just make save their lives.
